When I was a little kid I was into embroidery and cross-stitch, and also macrame. I thank my mom for letting me do all those things.
I remember writing lines as punishment when I went to elementary Catholic school. Lots of them, for different puerile reasons. I only remember they were a waste of time.
Time drains the colors from the best of dreams. The world becomes grayer. Decline knocks us down. Everything fades. Everything goes. Everything dies.
Is the heart just a pump? Or could it be more?

The separate but equal doctrine makes equal an exception. It doesn’t work at any level.

Sometimes it’s hard to understand why some people call our bodies an illusion, a vessel, and imagine spirituality outside of the drama of life, with all its contradictions and shortcomings.
